Welcome to MONER KAJ (মনের কাজ), an e-commerce platform dedicated to supporting mentally challenged artisans in Bangladesh by providing them a marketplace to sell their handcrafted products.

Our mission is to empower these artisans by connecting them with customers who value authentic, handmade crafts. Every purchase on MONER KAJ directly supports an artisan and their family.

These Terms & Policy govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

By accessing or using MONER KAJ, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and vendors of the platform. Your continued use of the platform after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

To access certain features of MONER KAJ, you must register and create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

Vendors on MONER KAJ must meet the following requirements:

• Submit a valid National ID (NID) and relevant documentation during registration
• Accurately represent the artisans whose products they sell
• Ensure all products listed are handcrafted and authentic
• Maintain accurate inventory and pricing information
• Respond to customer inquiries and fulfill orders in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Bangladesh

Vendor applications are reviewed and approved by our admin team, typically within 2–3 business days. We reserve the right to reject or revoke vendor status at our discretion.

All products listed on MONER KAJ must:

• Be accurately described with clear photographs
• Have correct pricing, including any applicable variants
• Be available in the quantity listed
• Not misrepresent the product's origin, materials, or craftsmanship
• Comply with our prohibited items policy

Products are subject to admin approval before being listed publicly. We reserve the right to remove any listing that does not meet our standards.

Prices displayed are in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and include all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

MONER KAJ currently accepts Cash on Delivery (COD) as the only payment method. When you place an order:

• You will receive an order confirmation via the platform
• Payment is made in cash upon delivery of your order
• Prices are as displayed at the time of order placement
• You may apply valid discount coupons at checkout
• Delivery charges are added based on your location

We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

We deliver across Bangladesh. Our standard delivery timeframes are:

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by holidays, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services.

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

• Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item
• Our team will review and respond within 2 business days

Returns are accepted for:

• Items received in damaged condition
• Items significantly different from the product description
• Wrong items delivered

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, or items damaged after delivery due to misuse. As our products are handcrafted, minor variations in color and texture are natural and not grounds for return.

The following items may not be sold on MONER KAJ:

• Counterfeit or replica products
• Hazardous or illegal materials
• Items that infringe on intellectual property rights
• Weapons or items that can cause harm
• Products that violate Bangladesh's laws and regulations
• Mass-produced items not handcrafted by artisans
• Any product we deem inappropriate for our platform's mission

Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal of listings and termination of vendor accounts.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. When you use MONER KAJ, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, password
• Order information: delivery address, order history
• Usage data: pages visited, products viewed (anonymized)

We use this information to:

• Process and fulfill your orders
• Send order confirmations and updates
• Improve our platform and services
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide our services.

All content on MONER KAJ, including logos, designs, text, and images, is owned by MONER KAJ or our vendors and is protected by copyright laws.

Artisans and vendors retain ownership of their original designs and creative works. By listing products on our platform, vendors grant MONER KAJ a non-exclusive license to display product images and descriptions for the purpose of marketing and selling their products.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

MONER KAJ acts as a marketplace connecting vendors and customers. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for the quality or accuracy of vendor-listed products
• We are not responsible for delays by third-party delivery services
• Our liability is limited to the value of the transaction in dispute
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses resulting from service downtime.

We may update these Terms & Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements.

When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify registered users via email where required
• Display a notice on the platform

Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
